pfDataExtractor V3.0 Application

The pfDataExtractor application was officially released for download November 2, 2015.

The application requires Windows .NET 4.0 runtime or later.

pfDataExtractor version 3.0 will run on Windows systems running XP SP3, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

Summary of features:

The pfDataExtractor application provides the user with easy to use and flexible data extraction and data masking capabilities.

Provides an interactive visual user interface for building and running data extracts that can be based on a wide variety of data platforms. Visual interface alllows for easy to define query restrictions and resultset filters.

Provides an intuitive random data generator interface for masking output data with realistic looking randomized values. Ideal for masking data with realistic random values for test, training and development database tables.

Randomizer features include realistic random values for person or business names, street names, city/state/zip addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and national ids..

Users can specify how to distribute the random values between U.S., Canada and Mexico names and addresses. Distribution can be further fined tuned by Country Region, State or Province, Metropolitan Area, Area Code or City.

Built-in Data Preview capabilities for verifying extract definitions. Output from extractor definitions can be viewed in an enhanced data grid with robust filtering and sorting provided.

Easy to use data export from the preview gird. Output can be exported to a wide variety of formats, including relational databases, Excel workbooks, Word documents, delimited and fixed length text files, XML files, RTF files and PDF files.

Supported input sources for data extracts include MS SQL Server, MS Access, SQLCE 3.5 & 4.0, ODBC and OLEDB data sources, and .NET providers for Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Informix, Sybase and SQL Anywhere.

Supported output destinations for extracts include Excel workbooks, delimited and fixed length text files, MS Access database files, XML files, SQLCE 3.5 & 4.0 databases, and relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Sybase, SQL Anywhere and Informix.

Interactive visual interfaces for creating, previewing and saving extract definitions, random data definitions and database connection strings.
